MoonLab 42 is pleased to host a fundraising exhibition featuring artwork created by KS Lack for her hybrid chapbook, Kyivsky Waltz: a love story, published by Finishing Line Press.
From the author: “In 1994, I moved to Kyiv to help start Dzerkalo Tyzhnia, Ukraine’s first independent weekly newspaper. Kyvisky Waltz is my attempt to show Ukraine as I experienced it. With this book, I hope to remind people that Ukraine has been—and always will be—much more than a war zone. All of my proceeds are being donated to Razom for Ukraine.”
The exhibition will take place from June 15th to June 22nd with an opening event on Saturday, June 15th, from 4:00 to 7:00 at MoonLab 42, 405 West 145th Street, NYC. KS will read from her book at 5:00 and 6:30 on a nearby rooftop. Attendance is free and open to the public. Light refreshments served.
MoonLab 42 is a satellite of a family-owned concept store from Tbilisi, Georgia, run by Ruso Margishvili and John Holden.
