About screening:
Razom for Ukraine and the American Coalition for Ukraine joined forces to put together a special screening of an award-winning documentary “Checkpoint Zoo”. Directed by Joshua Zemen, the documentary had its World Premiere at the renowned Tribeca Film Festival in 2024 where it got an Audience Award.
“Checkpoint Zoo” documents a daring rescue led by a heroic team of zookeepers and volunteers at the Kharkiv Ecopark Feldman, who risked their lives to save thousands of animals trapped in a zoo behind enemy lines in the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, so make sure to stick around and have the chance to be part of the conversation!
