DESCRIPTION

Razom Health focuses on supporting hospitals and healthcare institutions serving patients across Ukraine, including frontline areas. Emerging from a training program for neurosurgeons, Razom Health has expanded into a multifaceted initiative responding to the humanitarian crisis following the 2022 invasion. Our team provides critical medical aid, care and education to under-resourced healthcare facilities in Ukraine.

 

JOB SUMMARY

​​The MEAL Manager will design, implement and manage a comprehensive MEAL system. The ideal candidate will develop frameworks that accurately monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness and impact of our health initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring accountability, guiding strategic decisions, and enhancing the efficacy of our programs.

 

REPORTS TO

Program Director, Razom Health

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

● Develop and implement a MEAL strategy that aligns with Razom Health’s goals and objectives.

● Establish systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform program adaptation and improvement.

● Lead the design of evaluation studies, including selecting appropriate methodologies and tools for impact assessment.

● Foster a culture of continuous learning within the organization, ensuring lessons learned are integrated into program planning and execution.

● Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen program outcomes and accountability mechanisms.

● Prepare and disseminate comprehensive reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future strategies.

● Other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

 

● Master’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, or other related field; PhD in a relevant field in a plus.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEAL within healthcare, humanitarian, non-profit or international development sectors; previous experience working in Ukraine is a plus.

● Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing complex MEAL operations, particularly in disaster, crisis or conflict-affected areas; prior experience working with USAID, OCHA, ECHO, etc. is a plus.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

 

Fluency in English required; proficiency in Ukrainian is a plus.

● Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary humanitarian MEAL best practices, standards, and frameworks.

● Substantial experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis with statistical tools. 

● Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

● Ability to work flexibly, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic, international environment.

● Demonstrated proficiency with mobile-based data collection systems, such as Lightship or Kobo Toolbox.

● Experience in data visualization using Tableau, R, Power BI, Excel, or similar. 

● Proficiency in data management and analysis software is required.

SALARY RANGE

$80,000-$100,000

Final salary based on education, experience and qualifications as well as finalized scope of work.
