Razom for Ukraine is seeking program interns to help coordinate and engage in health and medical trip initiatives.
Candidates must be studying or working towards a university degree. This position is unpaid and may be hybrid or virtual. Students may be located in New York, NY or participate remotely. We highly encourage candidates to explore university funding or college credit options, if applicable. Mentorship is highly valued and interns are exposed to different Razom initiatives over the course of their internships.
The intern will work with the Razom Health team lead and be responsible for:
• Supporting the logistics and coordination of Razom Health projects, events, training programs, observerships, and/or medical trips
• Taking and maintaining notes and assisting with general team task management
• Supporting health-related data collection and analysis
• Assisting with administrative and communications tasks, including aiding with fundraising efforts and donor relations
Desired qualifications:
• Interest in non-profit work to support a Ukrainian victory
• Interest in public health and/or medicine
• Interest in supporting health systems and capacity in Ukraine
• Available to work up to 10-20 hours per week
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Adept at problem solving
• Ability to work independently
• Relevant public health or medical experience is considered an asset
• Proficiency in Ukrainian is considered an asset
