Why We Stand with Ukraine

Ukraine’s fight for freedom and sovereignty reaches far outside the country itself – it is a defining moment in the global fight for democracy, human rights, and the promise of a free world. From the Revolution of Dignity to today’s front lines, Ukrainians have shown the resilience, creativity, and courage that inspire us all. At Razom – which means “together” in Ukrainian – we believe that Ukrainian success is the world’s success. Every lifesaving package we ship, every training we deliver, and every voice we amplify sends a powerful message: freedom and justice are worth defending.

Our Three Pillars of Action

1We Deliver

  • Lifesaving Aid: Tactical medical kits, energy solutions, evacuation vehicles, and advanced surgical equipment – direct to the front line rescuers and medics.
  • Emergency Response: Winter supplies, water filtration units, and secure shelters for communities under threat and those in liberated territories.

2We Educate

  • Improving Skills: Hands-on workshops and trainings that arm first responders and medics with cutting-edge trauma care and mental health skills.
  • Advancing Healthcare: Fellowships, new equipment and training, and conference participation to fortify Ukraine’s healthcare system—today and tomorrow.
  • Workforce Development: Vocational training for internally displaced persons and veterans, youth camps, and international exchanges sculpting tomorrow’s leaders.

3We Activate

  • Advocacy: Bipartisan partnerships in Washington, global media campaigns, and civic engagement drives that keep Ukraine’s cause center stage.
  • Cultural Diplomacy: Film screenings, academic forums, and literary festivals that showcase Ukrainian art and ideas worldwide.
  • Civil Society Strengthening: Projects like “Sylnishi Razom” uniting NGOs across Ukraine to share best practices and amplify local solutions.

Stories of Resilience

Behind each of Razom’s programs are Ukrainians whose lives have been transformed by our collective action:

 

  • Saving Lives in the Warzone: We delivered 700 Individual First Aid Kits  to chaplains in Ukraine’s National Guard , which will equip spiritual leaders, who serve in some of the most dangerous areas and guide the souls, with the tools to protect the body.
  • Rebuilding Hope: Displaced mother Svitlana completed our seamstress vocational training in Lviv and joined a local clothing brand, feeding her family and making a difference in her community.
  • Amplifying Voices: Filmmaker Slava’s documentary – supported through our Cinema program – had a screening run that spanned more than 100 film festivals and over 100 theatrical screens globally giving global audiences a raw, human portrait of Ukraine’s spirit.
  • Shaping Policy: Thanks to the persistent work of our Advocacy team together with a coalition of dozens of organizations and activists, Congress passed a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine, providing much needed defensive capabilities.
