Шевченка у Нью-Йорку. На подію прийшло багато цікавих людей, адже в першій частині розмови брав участь сам Святослав Вакарчук. The Co-Pilot Fundraiser With Slava Vakarchuk and Fima Chupakhin: Promise Kept

In March 2017 at the launch of the Razom for Ukraine Co-Pilot Project, Slava Vakarchuk promised to come back to New York and play a private concert to raise funds for the project. He invited Fima Chupakhin to join him to create and perform a mix of jazz standards and Океан Ельзи / Okean Elzy songs.  On Saturday (on November 4th, 2017) he kept his promise and performed to a sold out audience that raised over $33,500 to improve the quality of neurosurgical and spine surgery in Ukraine.

We held our 3rd annual meeting on Saturday, September 23, 2017. We were happy to see over 100 people attend the gathering at Civic Hall in Manhattan. Participants heard updates regarding finances and highlights of past and present projects.

$10 000 grant went to Support Hospitals in Ukraine

At the Annual Meeting 2017 Razom for Ukraine provided a third grant to the Support Hospitals in Ukraine project, which will finalize the delivery of the fourth container of medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals in need. This last, third grant from Razom summed up to the total financial support of $23,000. We are proud to partner up with and support the project with such a noble mission – “Provide hospitals in Ukraine with the much-needed medical equipment and supplies”.

Charity Picnic for the Toy Drive

Last weekend, our Toy Drive team hosted a charity picnic in Central Park to celebrate Ukraine’s Independence. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and a better turnout! The day was action packed with fun activities, salo tasting, music, and great company. By the end of the day, we raised $2,000, which we will send to the Lviv Education Foundation in support of their program “Big Brother” (“Старший Брат”). “Big Brother” is a mentorship program for kids, whose fathers have been affected by the war in eastern Ukraine.

Lessons from the Ukrainian Pitch Night: Are You Serious?

One of the goals of Razom IT is to give more opportunities for Ukrainian startups and entrepreneurs to be placed front and center of the New York startup scene.  The Hatchery’s “Are You Serious?” pitch night, which has run in the city for six years, is one such great opportunity.  Razom IT partnered with The Hatchery for the second time to bring a Ukrainian edition of AYS and showcase five early-stage startups* with Ukrainian roots in front of a panel of investors tasked with giving their honest feedback about the startups’ technology, business, presentation, financial plan, marketing strategy, and more.
