Spotlight: “20 DAYS IN MARIUPOL”

Leading up to the historic win of “20 Days in Mariupol” at the OSCARS 2024, Razom Connect (specifically programs Razom Cinema and Ukraine on Campus), partnered with the PBS Frontline team to support their distribution efforts and impact strategy to reach a wider audience for the film. With Razom’s wide reach to community and student organizations, we were able to successfully distribute the 50 DVDs to a variety of campuses across the US and prolong the life of the film by ensuring these DVDs were donated to libraries at those campuses.

How we partner:

Razom Cinema forges strategic partnerships with filmmakers, cultural organizations, universities, and art institutions across the United States. We bring the best of Ukrainian film to diverse audiences, meeting them where they are—whether on college campuses, in community theaters, or at cultural centers. Through these collaborations, we curate screenings, discussions, toolkits and special events that showcase the richness and innovation of Ukrainian storytelling. Our mission is to familiarize audiences with Ukraine’s cinematic excellence, offering thought-provoking dramas, documentaries, and emerging voices that deepen understanding of Ukraine’s cultural landscape.
