Razom IT presents “Ukraine: Rise of Tech Nation” with Yevgen Sysoyev

An astounding number of tech innovations around the globe are fueled by talent from Ukraine. You might not realize it, but you have benefited from them if you’ve used Ford’s in-car infotainment system, Reuters award-winning photography app, Nokia’s customer retail experience, or Deutsche Bank’s Risk Management System.

At our December Razom IT Speaker Series event, we had a great lineup of established Ukrainian IT professionals talk about the rise of Ukraine as a technology nation.

Over 100 decision makers from companies in the US who hire technology talent, as well as software engineers and investors gathered in Civil Hall to hear about established players like global R&D shop Ciklum, as well as start-ups like PetCube and Deposit Photos.

Thank you to all of the attendees for bringing the talent and excitement of tech from Ukraine to New York City. Last night, Civic Hall was full with 100 people who were meeting, sharing stories and building relationships. We are willing to hazard a bet that more than a few new companies will emerge from the people in the audience.

The entire event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors:Dentons and Looksery. As well as the hundreds of hours donated by Razom volunteers to create, promote and run the event. Thank you to our partners Civic Hall for making the main stage come alive.
